Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of vowberry.com and everything offered on it (the “Service”). The Service is operated by Nordic Landing OÜ, Harju maakond, Kuusalu vald, Pudisoo küla, Männimäe/1, 74626 Estonia, registry code 16372123 (“Vowberry”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Refund Policy.

1. Definitions

AI resultEach new image, background or decoration the AI panel generates for credits, each AI edit of an image (style or color changes), and each AI lettering or background removal result.
Wedding websiteA shareable website made with a Select or Cinematic theme, with your event details, a countdown, a map and an optional RSVP form.

2. What the Service includes

  • Wedding websites. The main paid product. You build the site with a Select or Cinematic theme and share it with your guests as a link.
  • Invitation editor. You design the invitation yourself. Downloading the standard-resolution PNG is free; the high-resolution (HD) PNG uses credits.
  • AI panel. Optional, inside the invitation editor. It suggests ideas for your design and creates AI results for credits.
  • Free tools. The wedding countdown and the guest list.

A wedding website is a one-time payment for the theme collection you choose. What the Select and Cinematic collections include, and their current prices, are shown on the Pricing page. Invitation editor credits are a separate purchase and are not included with a wedding website.

Important: AI generation is probabilistic. AI results can differ from your instructions in style, composition, text or names, and every result can be different. Always check the text in your invitation, including any names written with AI lettering, before you download or share it.

3. Accounts and eligibility

  1. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  2. The information you give when you sign up must be accurate, current and complete.
  3. Sign-in is provided by Clerk, Inc. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for everything done under your account.
  4. If you notice unauthorized use of your account, tell us right away at legal@vowberry.com.
  5. Using several accounts to collect welcome, referral or promotional credits more than once is not allowed.

4. Prices, credits and payment

  1. Prepaid, no subscription. To publish a wedding website you buy the package for the theme collection you chose. To get AI results or HD downloads in the invitation editor you buy a credit pack. Current packages and prices are on the Pricing page; credit packs are shown in the invitation editor and on your account’s membership page.
  2. Using credits. Each AI result and each HD download uses 1 credit. The AI panel’s design suggestions and the standard-resolution PNG download are free. Undoing an AI result or removing it from your design does not return the credit. The current rates are shown in the invitation editor; we give notice before changing them.
  3. No transfers. Credits are for your own use. They cannot be moved to another account, sold to anyone else or exchanged for cash.
  4. No expiry. Credits do not expire. If an account stays inactive for 24 months in a row, we may close it; you can then ask for a refund of unused credits under Section 5.
  5. Taxes. Prices include any applicable sales tax or VAT unless stated otherwise. The checkout summary shows the tax that applies to you; Link (item 7) charges it and pays it to the tax authorities.
  6. Currency. Prices are shown in the currency checkout charges you in: US dollars where the US dollar is your local currency, and euros, at the same number, everywhere else. Outside the euro area, checkout may convert the euro price into your local currency at an exchange rate it shows you before you pay. The amount and currency shown at checkout are what you pay.
  7. Merchant of record. Purchases on vowberry.com are sold through Link, Stripe’s checkout service, which acts as the merchant of record. Link takes your payment, charges and pays the sales tax or VAT, sends your receipt or invoice, and handles payment questions and payment disputes. Your card statement shows the purchase as LINK.COM* VOWBERRY. We provide the Service you buy and remain responsible for it. We never see or store your full card number.
  8. What a wedding website includes. Select and Cinematic packages keep the site online for 12 months after the main wedding date. Publication extensions, lifetime publication, extra languages and add-on credits are not sold at launch.

5. Right of withdrawal and refunds

The full rules are in our Refund Policy; this section summarizes them.

Unused credits: 14 days. Within 14 days of a purchase you can ask for a refund of the credits from that purchase you have not used yet. The refund is the pack price divided by the number of credits in the pack, times the unused credits; if you used none, you get the full payment back. Write to support@vowberry.com. We refund within 14 days of receiving your request, to the payment method you used. You can also take a payment question to Link support, which may refund a payment itself in some cases.

Used credits. Each AI result and HD download is digital content delivered immediately at your request. Before you pay for credits, a required checkbox asks you to agree that the service starts before the 14-day withdrawal period ends and to acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal for each credit you use. We store that consent with your purchase and confirm it in our order confirmation email. Your 14-day refund right for unused credits is not affected. This exception is based on Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the equivalent UK rule.

Wedding websites and the Cinematic upgrade. You can withdraw within 14 days of payment, as long as the site has not been published, and get the full payment back. Publishing the site, or reaching a publish date you scheduled, starts the service with your consent. Consumers in the EU and the UK can still withdraw within the 14 days after publishing; the refund is then reduced in proportion to the part of the online period already provided. A Cinematic upgrade applied to a site that is already live is performed in full when you pay, so its withdrawal right ends with the payment.

Technical failures. If an AI result or HD download fails because of a technical error on our side or a provider’s, the credit is returned automatically.

Refunds and payment disputes. If a wedding website is refunded in full, withdrawn from, or a payment dispute is decided in your favor, the site and its RSVP form are suspended. We may keep the site and RSVP data in restricted form for 30 days from the suspension to correct a dispute or meet legal claims, then delete or anonymize it under the applicable retention rules and any deletion request.

Your consumer rights come first. If you use the Service as a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection law of the country where you live takes precedence over this section.

6. Your content and the license you give us

  1. Your promises. You confirm that you have the right to use every photo, text, name and other content you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or personality rights. You have the permission of the people shown in your photos.
  2. The license you give us. You give Vowberry, and the providers we use to run the Service (including the AI providers Fal.ai and OpenAI), a limited, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable right to use your content only to provide the Service: to create, store and technically improve your invitations, wedding website and AI results. This license does not let us use your content in our marketing without your separate permission.
  3. Your rights. You may use the invitations you make for personal or commercial purposes.
  4. AI output. The copyright status of AI-generated images is unsettled in many countries. We cannot guarantee full and exclusive copyright ownership of AI results.

7. Prohibited uses

When you use the Service, you agree not to:

  • upload photos of people without their permission, other people’s trademarks, or images of public figures;
  • try to create hateful, discriminatory, harassing, violent, sexually explicit, child-sexualizing or otherwise illegal content;
  • misuse the Service with automated tools (bots, scraping, credit abuse) or try to get around its security measures or rate limits;
  • access other users’ accounts without permission or impersonate anyone;
  • spread malware through the Service or harm others.

If these rules are broken, we may remove content, suspend or close the account without notice, and report to the authorities where the law requires it.

8. Storage, downloads and guest data

  1. Invitation images you make may be deleted automatically 30 days after the event date. Download your invitation as soon as you are happy with it.
  2. How long a wedding website stays online. The site is online for 12 months after the date saved as the main wedding date in the wizard. The period is fixed when the site is first published; changing the main event date later does not extend it. At the end of the period the site and its RSVP form close to the public.
  3. Guest data. The owner of a wedding website decides what to ask guests in the RSVP form and is responsible for collecting it lawfully and telling guests how it is used. On live sites we keep only first-party total counters that contain no personal data.
  4. If you delete your account, your invitation data and account details are deleted within the periods in our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to the Service and termination

  1. We may change, suspend or end features, packages or the technical setup of the Service, with notice, or immediately where notice is not reasonably possible.
  2. You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account for a breach of these Terms, a payment dispute or a legal requirement.
  3. If we close your account without good reason, we refund unused credits under Section 5.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • The Service is provided “as is.” We give no implied warranty about the quality, accuracy or deviation of AI output, about print compatibility, or about fitness for a particular purpose.
  • We are not responsible for printing results (color matching, paper choice, printer quality).
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. If you use the Service as a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection law of the country where you live still applies.

11. Intellectual property

The Vowberry name, the design and code of vowberry.com, the template library, our prompt engineering, the brand identity and other materials belong to Nordic Landing OÜ or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you, apart from your use of your own output under Section 6.

12. Governing law and disputes

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia.
  2. If you use the Service as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live and the right to bring proceedings in its courts.
  3. Consumers in the EU can turn to the consumer dispute body of their country. The alternative dispute resolution body for Vowberry is the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee (Tarbijavaidluste komisjon).

13. Changes to these Terms and contact

If we make a material change to these Terms, we will tell you by email or in the Service at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the updated Terms apply.
